Description		    Commentary on the Bible and Talmud with reviews of selected books by R. Bezalel ben Joshua Heschel Har-Zion (Rosenberg). The title page describes Mahshevet Bezalel as being divided into three parts. The first part is an explanation of many verses in the Bible, Mishnah, and Talmud. Part two is reviews of the book Seder ha-Dorot Rishonim by R. Isaac Izik ha-Levi. The final part is an accounting of the world, mussar and reproof as to personal conduct in serving the Lord. The title page is dated from the verse, “May we rejoice in your salvation” (Psalms 20:6). There is an approbation from R. Israel Hayyim דייכעס. There is a versified preface, followed by the introduction and then the text, which is in a single column set in square letters. R. Rosenberg’s review of Seder ha-Dorot Rishonim by R. Isaac Izik ha-Levi is very negative.

The book concludes with a series of brief discourses added at the time of printing but delivered earlier by R. Rosenberg on such occasions as a eulogy, for his grandson’s bar mitzvah, on Shabbat Hol ha-Mo’ed 1927.
