Description		    Only edition. 12 pp. plus title wrappers, 212:160 mm., wide margins, usual age staining. A very good copy bound in modern cloth boards.
          
Detailed
Description		    First issue of the monthly Torah periodical under the editorship of R. Samuel Madowicz. The title page (front cover) states that it is a monthly journal encompassing responsa, novellae, halakhic commentary, and pilpul on the Talmud by leading rabbinic authorities. An annual subscription to the journal is six zlota, individual copies copies costing 50 gr. The only Latin letters are the address, which by Sz. Madowicz, Kalisz, Szopena 12. This issue is dated Iyyar 686 (1926). The verso of the title page has the heading contents, but actually lists the distinguished rabbis who contributed to the journal, beginning with the righteous author of Nefesh Hayyah, av bet din of Kalisz; the late R. Benjamin Solomon, av bet din in Liska; R. Ezekiel Liebshitz, av bet din of Kalisz; R. Menahem Mendel Weinberg, av bet din, Radam; and many others. The text is in two columns in square letters. The issue is bound with the original wrappers. No other issues are known to have been published.
