Description		    Commentary on Shir ha-Shirim (Song of Songs) by R. Solomon Thien. The title page describes it as part one, but the work is in four parts, the first a commentary on Shir ha-Shirim; second, an explanation of the words and terms in Shir ha-Shirim with an explanation of their roots; third, on four discourses of our sages; and fourth, to prove that the sayings of our sages are basic to our faith, are consistent, and without contradictions. There are two introductions, the first in Hebrew, the second in German, followed by the text which is in Hebrew in a single column in square letters. The volume ends with errata. The pages in this copy are still uncut.
