Description		    Extensive commentary on the Zohar incorporating many corrections not previously printed. Little is known of the author's childhood, R. Judah b. Solomon ha-Kohen (d.1850), who was probably born in Jerusalem, was an emissary to North Africa on several occasions, and passed on in Tunis during a trip. A scholar of Talmud and kabbalah he also wrote Oholei Yehudah (Jerusalem 1843) novellae on the Rambam and selected Talmudical topics. All of his works carry the important approbations of the period's major rabbinical leaders.
