Description		    Responsa on all four parts of the Shulhan Arukh by R. Joseph Hanania Lipa Meisels. The title page states that Tiferet Yosef is what R. Meisels, who served as rav in Przemysl, left over for a blessing. It notes that he was also the author of Pnei Yosef and Kunteres Agunah למוהר"ל . Tiferet Yosef was assembled and brought to press by his son and student R. Moses Meisels, who is rabbi in Przemysl. Printed with Tiferet Yosef is Kalil Yosef, annotations and glosses to Tiferet Yosef. The verso and into the following page are approbations from highly prominent rabbis, namely, R. Joseph Saul ha-Levi Nathanson, R. Solomon Kluger, R. Shimon ben Moses sofer, R. Hayyim Halberstam, and R. Abraham Benjamin ben Solomon Kluger, the last appearing after the introduction. The introduction is from the author’s son, R. Moses Meisels. The text is in two columns in rabbinic type, excepting headers and initial words which are in square letters. Tiferet Yosef is comprised of thirty seven responsa for Orah Hayyim, thirty nine for Yoreh De’ah, twenty seven for Even ha-Ezer, and twenty for Hoshen ha-Mishpat. The volume concludes with an index of the responsa and errata.
