Description |
|
The Grodna-Vilna edition (1835-1854) was printed in violation of the copyright period of the Shapira Brothers in Slavuta. The ensuing battle and its tragic results are common history. This tractate is the last printed by the partners as Menahem Man passed on in the same year. Financial diffculties and a fire that destroyed the press resulted in the suspension of printing. The edition was completed by Man's son, Reuben, 10 years later. |
