Collected polemical essays and responsa on contemporary issues pertaining to the Sephardic community in Jerusalem. Printed in an oblong fashion, the title page simply states the contents, and is followed by three pages of vers, each stanza concluding I will not wonder לא אתפלא. There is a preface “in place of the introduction” which discusses the situation of the Sephardim. There are twenty discourses in this work which includes such topics as, The decline of the Sephardic community and the reasons for it; the Sephardic community in Jerusalem and the Oriental community (Adut ha-Mizrach); the Sephardim and the Yeminites; The tribulations of the Persian community; the western (Morocco and Tunis) communities in Jerusalem; the Bukharin community in Jerusalem; the foundationof the old Yishuv and the Sephardim; In this generation; on loving disputes and others. It has the original wrappers, which lists the contents on the front cover.
