Description
   A blank certificate for the Etz –Hayim Orange Gardens, “an everlasting fruit-bearing endowment for the preservation of Torah & Yishuv in Eretz Israel, ” located in Kfar Saba. The top 45mm. is a tear –off receipt (partially torn off). The certificate has a picture of an orange tree in the center of the top with a passage from Ezekiel in Hebrew (åàúí äøé éùøàì òðôëí úúðå åôøéëí úùàå ìòîé éùøàì) which translates as “But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel”. The picture is labeled Etz Hayim – the tree of life. The remainder of the certificate has blanks to be filled in with the name of the purchaser, tree no., row no., sum, and date. The form in written in both Yiddish and English and there is place under Pardes Etz Hayim Committee for three signatures. The printing is in black, with the picture of the tree in green and orange, and key phrases highlighted in orange print (e.g. CERTIFIED, for the sum of, and NO._____ [certificate no.]). An address is given at the very bottom of the certificate: Pardes Etz Hayim, P.O. Box 192 Jerusalem.
