Detailed Description |
|
This volume (which is in Yiddish) deals with laws relating to Jewish women, e.g. Niddah (Jewish family purity) and the laws of taking Challah. The volume was certified by the Rabbinical Commission of the Chernoyar Makhzike Hada’at Hevra. Its publication was funded by Eliezer Akiva Paskusz in memory of his beloved wife, Tzartl (the daughter of Chaye Sarah) nee Gestetner, who died on the tenth of Shevat 5679 (1919).
The title derives from “ Sugah ba'Shoshanim" which means a weak fence, made of flower vines. Even a fence of roses, without the need for a wall of stone, will prevent the Jewish people from sinning. The source for this statement is Sandedrin 37a.
