Description		    Abbreviated halakhot based on the Shulhan Arukh by R. Solomon Zalman ben Judah Leib Mirkish. The title page describes it as halakhic decisions (a kizzur Shulhan Arukh) with the glosses of R. Moses Isserles (Rema) and other later sages, such as the Taz, Magen Avraham, and Shach.. It describes the author as being known by all as Leib Mirkish of Mir. The title page is dated with the verse, “The song of songs, which is Solomon’s” (Song of Songs 1:1). There are approbations from R. Saul Levin of Frankfort a. Oder, R. Raphael Jekuthiel Sissking of Pinsk, R. Samuel ben Avigdor of Vilna, and R. Avigdor ben Samuel of Vilna. There is an introduction form the author followed by the text,. Set in a single column in rabbinic type, excepting headers and initial words, which are in square letters. The text follows the order of the Shulhan Arukh. At the end of the volume are kavvanot of the tekiyot (132b) followed by a fold out page (noter enumerated) on that subject. The volume concludes with errata.

R. Solomon Zalman b. Judah Mirkish was a Lithuanian Talmudist of the eighteenth century; a native of Mir, government of Minsk. He published at Königsberg in 1769 his Derush, a funeral oration on the death of R. Abraham, chief rabbi of Frankfort-on-the-Main. In 1771 he was rabbi of Frankfort-on-the-Oder, where he published in that year his two works: Sharsheret ha-Abotot, containing novellae, decisions, and discussions upon Talmudic matters, and this work, Shulhan Shelomo. He held rabbinical office for 15 years in Mir.
