Detailed
Description
This is the third volume of a series by R. Marcus Heimann Seligsberg of Bayersdorf (in Bayern), who was a teacher in Fellheim. The first of this series is actually part 5 of his book entitled Mekor Hayyim. The second volume of the series is on the Five Megillot. The present volume is a volume of sermons based on the Haftarot of the entire year. Added to those sermons are two philosophical essays entitled: Kohelet Mussar and Tehilat Yah (called Halleluyah). These essays are geared to enlighten the reader to the path to fear and worship (of the L-rd). The end of the book contains a letter to the reader wherein the author describes his pain and sorrow, and yet his faith, at the loss of his son, Yitzhak (Isadore).

R. Seligsberg was the author of numerous other titles, including, Mekor Hayim, Ir Miklat, Sedeh Hayim, Sefer Moreh Derekh, Shire tehilot, and Moralische Vorlesungen über die 5 Bücher Mosis.(1854).
