The title page (cover) describes it as zweiter bericht über das Wirken des jüdischen Lehr = und Lese = Berreins in Breslau, that is the second report on the Jewish introduction and reading material in Breslau. There is a device (pressmark?) comprised of a harp and book against a floral background. The title page is numbered 36983. The introduction (3-8) concludes with the date 3 May 1844 and the name Geiger. It is followed by a worksheet for 1843 listing debits and credits, dated 6 January 1843 and with the names of the members of the committee of the Gemeinde. The remainder of the pamphlet is a Katalog der neuerworbenen Schriften für den jüdischen Lehr und leseverein (newly acquired works for the teaching and reading association. The list of title, all in German, runs from pages 11 through 16. The final two pages are Hebrew titles.
