Description		    Homiles by R. Elias Karpeles. The volume begins with a half title page, flowed by two full facing title pages. The first states that it is Gelegenheits=Predigten jüdischer kanzelredner part one. The second title page repeats this information. There is a forward from R. Karpeles followed by a table of contents, enumerating the eulogies, there are forty five, which are divided into five parts according to the weekly Torah readings. The text is in a single column in German in Fraktur with occasional Hebrew.
