Detailed
Description
The Constitution Committee of Chevra Anshei Grodna v"Anshei Sapetkin (a congregation which also fulfills the members' needs for a burial society) published a Constitution in Yiddish and English. The book can be opened from either the right or left side, and the reader will find on both sides a table of contents and 44 pages of the Constitution. The Constitution itself is very detailed including dues, fines, obligations, etc. In case of death, arrangements are taken of, including the monument at the grave.

Achai Grodno was incorporated in New York State in 1894, and Agudath Achim Anche Sapetkin was incorporated in 1895. It seems that they merged and formed a unified congregation when this constitution was written in 1908. There is an advertisement on the verso of the English title page for a funeral home.
