Translation by Aaron Jacob Divekar of the 1893 original English edition.
The author was the Rabbi of Cong. B'nai Israel Congregation in Columbus, Ohio. In this volume he has written an apologia of Judaism which is addressed to the Christian reader. R. Weiss was also the author of other books, including: Some burning questions exegetical treatise on Christianizing of Judaism (Columbus 1893)and Talmudic and other legends: facts and fictions from olden times (1888).
