Description		    Liturgical work to be recited on festivals, at weddings, berit milah, and other joyous occasions arranged by R. Moses Asher ben Samuel. The title page is dated, “rejoice for joy משוש (646 = 1886) with her” (Isaiah 66:10). There is some Arabic in Hebrew letters but the book is primarily in Hebrew. R. Moses Asher’s versified introduction is in Arabic. Approbations are from R. Moses Pardo of Alexandria, and from R. Hayyim David Shabbatai of Taragano, Egypt. A second introduction from R. Moses Asher in Hebrew in rabbinic letters follows and then the text is in a single column in square unvocalized letters. Some of the first pizmonim are from the renowned liturgical poet R. Israel Nagara. At the end are additional pizmonim from R. Joseph Mizrahi.

A printing-house was founded in 1874 by Hayyim Mizrahi, from which numerous prayer-books, sermons, and responsa, and many volumes in Arabic and Hebrew as well as in European languages have been issued. In equipment and in the quality of its work it bears comparison with the best European presses.

"סדר אל תוחיד" נדפס בנפרד, בשנת תרמ"ז. הסכמות; ר' משה פארדו, אלכסנדריה, כא לעומר [ו אייר] תרמ"ו; ר' חיים דוד שבתי טאראגאנו, מצרים [קהיר], יג אייר תרמ"ו.

פזמונים נדפס בלי שער? כולל שירים מאת ר' יוסף מזרחי, ר' משה פארדו (אב"ד אלכסנדריה, נפטר בשנת 1888. נזכר כאן בברכת המתים), ר' אליהו חזן (רב באלכנסדריה בין השנים תרמ"ח-תרס"ח), ר' אליעזר אלישר, ר' יצחק מזרחי, ר' ישראל ששון ואחרים. בעמ' הראשון שיר מאת ר' יוסף מזרחי לכבוד בארון יעקב לוי די מנשה. דף ט,ב ואילך: "סדר למוד ותקון המשמרה, ללמוד מדי שבת בשבתו".
