Description		    Rabbinic essays (lit. appraisals). The subtitle is over the on the compatibility of free research with the Rabbinate (über die Verträglichkeit der freien Forschung mit dem Rabbineramte). There is an introduction from the heads of the municipal Jewish collegium (das ober-Vorsteher-collegium der hies. Israeliten-Gemeinde) and then the text which is comprised of ten essay, in a single column in Fraktur with occasional Hebrew. The essays, or opinions (gutachten) are from herrn Landrabb.
