The Hebrew Album consists of 15 leaves of portraits followed by text in Hebrew and English (printed in facing columns) giving basic biographical information on 80 "prominent Israelites of America". The introduction states that the album is divided into groups: Philanthropists, Rabbis, Preachers, Professors, Zionists, Editors and Publishers, Legislators, and Contributors to "The Nation."
Another edition of this abum was published by a weekly newspaper called HaLam by Moshe Dov ben Eliezer Aryeh HaKohen Goldman. |
