Detailed
Description		    Decree signed by several prominent members of the Fez Bet Din:

R. Raphael Jacob Ben-Simhon (d. 1857), author of Bat Rabim (Djerba 1955) and several other works still in manuscript;

R. Jacob b. Mattathias ha-Kadosh ("the holy Mattathias") (c.1769-1851), was a rabbi and dayyan in Fez. One of seven children, his rulings survive in manuscript. The Serero family were Spanish scholars who settled in Fez after the Expulsion, bringing their considerable library with them;

R. Jacob b. Solomon Samuel Ibn Zur (c.1780-1850) was a dayyan in Fez and signed Yavetz, his rulings survive in manuscript.
