Detailed
Description		    Responsa, novellae and expositions on the Bible and Talmud by the Chief Rabbi of Marrakesh. The list of donors (pp. 2-5) represents all on Moroccan Jewry: Marrakesh, Casablanca, Rabat, and Mogador.

R. David Sabah (d. 1859) founded a Yeshiva in Marrakesh where learning continued to the late hours of the night. The Yeshiva was still in existance in the 1940's. He authored many works which have not survived, this volume was assembled by his grandson from manuscripts and published.
