Description		    Only edition. 10 pp., 63 ff., 176:110 mm., wide margins, usual light age staining. A very good copy bound in the original half cloth boards, rubbed and split.
          
Detailed
Description		    This volume was published by the grandson of the author, R. David Sutton. VaYelaket Yosef deals with the halakhot (laws) of forbidden foods and foods cooked by non-Jews. Birkot Shamayim deals with the laws of the various blessings said over food, drink and fragarances. An abridged version of Birkot Shamayim appears here in conjunction with VaYelaket Yosef. The approbation of R. Hizkiah Shabbetai (1862-1955), the distinguished Chief Rabbi of Aleppo, is included.

R. Yosef Sutton (1813-?) was the son of Abraham, and the grandson of Abraham who was the author of Malel le'Abraham. R. Yosef Sutton was a prolific author, producing 10 major works over the course of his life. These include Vayimatz'e Yosef, Vayedaber Yosef, Vayizkor Yosef, Vayivarech Yosef, Porat Yosef, Edut BiYehosef, Diber Yosef, Tomru LeYosef, and Vayar Yosef. It appears that only a few were published. The rest remain in manuscript form.

הקדמת המוציא לאור חתומה: תרע"ו. ספר ברכות שמים, הכולל דיני ברכות, לא נדפס, אלא המוציא לאור עשה ממנו "קצור הדינים" ואותם הדפיס כאן. הסכמה: ר' חזקיה שבתי, אר"ץ [ארם-צובה], תרע"ה.
