Detailed Description |
|
Disagreements in the European shtetel on the reliability of the ritual slaughterer were quite common. Many questions relating to the knife or religious observance of the practitioner were commonly raised. In this case the slaughterers apparently competed to heavily with the established butchers incurring the wrath of several townspeople.
