Description		    Only edition of these two discourses on contemporary issues in defense of Judaism and Jews against their foes. The first ma’amar is different currents in the life of our people, with the subtitle faith and religionm, the people and Zionists, strengtheners of the faith and rabbinic gatherings. The second ma’amar is the revival of Israel and its opponents. It contains a collection of ma’amarim from by author from Hebrew newspapers on she’elot harabbanim, Hibbat Zion, Zionists and their opponents. There is a table of contents which lists the sixteen chapters comprising the first ma’amar and the eleven ma’amarim in the second part. Next are prefatory remarks, “in place of an introduction” from the author, and the text in a single column in square letters. In the prefatory remarks the author begins with Midrash Konan and then writes that it is known that our sages in their aggadadot spoke most often in parables and riddles, as did all earlier sages. So here, it is to say that in all creation light and darkness are intermingled to the point that even the angels do not know how top separate between day and night until they see the sign Emet (truth) on the forehead or by the light that shiens for them so that they know it is day. When the see Emunah they know that it is night by the darkness that spreads about. He continues, concluding that the emunah spoken about here is that of the mouth not of the heart. Everyone understands according to their intelligence, as will be explained in the book.
