Description |
|
This booklet is a description of the hot springs at Tiberias, published by the Tiberias Thermal Sources Society. Since Roman times, this recreation spa which was built around 17 natural mineral hot springs, has welcomed visitors from many parts of the world. Bathhouses were rebuilt at Hammath Tiberias in recent times. They are fed by five springs whose waters reach a temperature of 140°–144°F (66°–62°C) and contain graphite, iron, and magnesium chloride.
