Decision of the Agudat Israel's Rabbinical Board signed by R. Pinehaus Menahem Alter (1926-1996), Admor of Gur and author of Pnei Menahem. A noted scholar of great personal charm, he had an influence far beyond the immediate circle of his followers. As head of the various Gur institutions and yeshivot he did much to enhance the reputation and influence of Gur Hasidism. Thousands of visitors traveled to his court in Jerusalem each year to see him and receive his blessing.
Signed by R. Shalom Noah Brezovsky, Admor of Slonim and author of Netivot Shalom. An erudite scholar he attracted many disciples who sought his blessings and advice.
