Description
Jacob Eisenberg (1897-1966) was born in Pinsk, Russia. He immigrated to Erez Israel in 1913 and studied at the Bezalel School in Jerusalem; In 1919 he was at the School for Arts and Crafts in Vienna. Eisenberg also taught at the Bezalel School from 1927-28. His work includes: Engraving and Stained Glass: Great Synagogue, Tel Aviv, according to sketches by Zeev Raban; Y.M.C.A., Jerusalem; Bet Shalom (House of Doctor Horowitz), Jerusalem; Kiryat Hatechnion, Haifa; decorated houses in Tel Aviv with ceramics.
