Description		    Polemical philosophical work written with the pseudonym of the late third and early fourth century C.E., Palestinian amora Rabbi Assa. The full title is Der Messias oder Reform der Juden in religiöser und moralischer Hinsicht philosofisch und theologisch erläutert (The Messiah or reform of the Jews in regards to their religious and moral philosophy and theology. The book discusses traditional Jewish values and beliefs from an enlightenment perspective and has Christian motifs on the title page and possibly in the text. It is set in a single column in Fraktur and has occasional Hebrew in the footnotes.
