This volume is labeled: "Erstes Heft” [first booklet] and is a biography of our forefather Abraham. It includes bibliographical references. The book is dedicated to the author’s parents and begins with a poem in Hebrew entitled Mizmor LeTodah – a psalm of thanks. Pages 14-23 contain a lengthy poem entitled “Abraham.” R. Pick is also the author of Mashal u-melitsah, divre hakhamim ve-hidotam [a book of riddles].
