Description		    This volume is part of a series entitled "Gelegenheits-Predigten jüdischer Kanzelredner; 2. Bd." (which translates as "Opportunity lectures of Jewish pulpit speakers.")

The author, Jacob Freund, 1827-1877, has collected in this volume a series of talks appropriate for confirmation. He was a teacher of religion at the United Synagogue of Breslau, and the author of a number of other books, including Biblische Gedichte, Festkränze: Original-Gelegenheits-Gedichte für Schule und Haus, Hanna: Gebet und Andachtsbuch für israelitische Frauen und Mädchen and others.
