Description		    Concerning the Bibel und Babel of Prof. Friedrich Delitzsch by Dr. A. Hoffmann. Delitsch had claimed the absolute superiority of "Babylonia" over "Israel" and that the Bible, in and of itself, is devoid of religious and moral value. The storm over that position and Delitsch’s works resulted in many responses, this being one, several more also offered in this auction.
