Description		    Only edition. 45, 85 pp., 225:154 mm., widecrisp margins, light age staining. A very good copy bound in the original paper title wrappers.

Description		    There are both a Hebrew and an English title page to this work, and the pagination goes in both directions. One section is in English, and the other in Hebrew. The contents of the English section include sermons, a eulogy for President McKinley, a letter of condolence to Mrs. McKinley, a letter to President Theodore Roosevelt, and the last section with 250 maxims in Hebrew with English translation. The Hebrew section also contains sermons, and translations of the eulogy for President McKinley, the letter to Mrs. McKinley and the letter to President Roosevelt.

The author was a Rabbi in Newark, NJ (at Congregation Anshe Russia) and was the author of Meisey Choshav. He was born in Slonim in 1853, he emigrated to the United States in 1886, and died in Newark, NJ in 1937. Extra Title: Words of thought: containing speeches and teachings on morals, lectures on timely topics and many brilliant sayings by the sages of the Talmud.
