The top has a crown with a banner coming out of both sides with the Hebrew for "May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year." This is followed by the shields of each of the twelve tribes with their own distinctive emblems, followed by 3 large circles with views of the Western Wall, Rachel's tomb and the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem. The center has "A Happy New Year" written in English (the only non-Hebrew words on the whole page). There is a picture of a fruit basket and room for the sender to write his name, the year and the name of the intended recipient.

The bottom third has a picture of an old man seated, with an angel standing at his shoulder pointing to what is labeled as the port of Tel Aviv. There are farmers plowing, the port with ships and buildings all the same picture. This is surrounded by verses such as Amos 9: 14-15: "And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the L-RD thy G-d."
