Description		    Dr. Bernhard Kuttner, b. 1847, has compiled in this volume a collection of quotations and maxims relating to Judaism. He has arranged them under subject headings, such as The Sabbath and Festivals, Prayer, etc.

Dr. Kuttner is also the other of many other books, including: Biblische Lebensbilder (Frankfurt am Main, 1914), Jüdische Sagen und Legenden : für jung und alt gesammelt und wiedererzählt (many editions, e.g.Frankfurt am Main, 1920) and others.
