Description		    Only edition. 24 pp., 198:127 mm., wide margins, light age staining, stamps. A very good copy bound in later half cloth and marbled paper over boards, rubbed. Rare - WorldCat does not list any library with this title.

Description		    A study guide for high school (gymnasium) students to Homeric Greek with heavy emphasis on grammar. These types of books were very common in Germany at that time. There are at least seven other books with the same title published around that time (by Ribbeck, Bach, Deuschle, Engelmann, Krüger, Menrad and Köpke.)

The author, Dr. Theodore Dielitz , is also the author of a number of other books, including Grundriss der weltgeschichte für gymnasien und realschulen (Berlin. 1848), Quaestiones aristoteleae. (Berlin, 1867), and Amerikanische Reisebilder für die Jugend bearbeitet (Berlin, 1885).
