Description		    Ethical work by Hendel Adler. Except for the title and one paragraph on the title page and the headings on the chapter title pages the text is in German. Die Pfade der Gerechten (The path of the Righteous) is ein ethisches Werk zur Beleuctungh und Veredlung der menschichen Eigenschaften (an ethical work for enlightening and improving a person’s character). Die Pfade der Gerechten, as the title suggests, is based and is an annotated translation of Rabbenu Jonah’s Orhot Zaddikim. It is dedicated to Wilhelm Karl baron von Rothschild, Frankfort am. Main. There are forwards from the author, and the chapters, which include die Pforte der Hochmuths (arrogance), Bescheidenheit (humility), die Schamhaftigkeit (shame), Frechheit (insolence) and others.
