Description		    On biblical and ancient Arabic astrology by Dr. Fritz Hommel (1854-1936). The author was professor of Semnitic languages at the University of Munch at the time that this work was published. Approximately twenty five works, if not more, were authored by him, on Babylonian, Assyrian, and related subjects. This book is the result of a lecture for the Verein für jüdische Geschicte und Literatur in Berlin on December 5, 1899. It was given in memory of, and is dedicated to Franz Delitzch (4 March, 1890). This lecture encompasses the astrology and related fields in the ancient middle east. The volume concludes with an afterward dated November 12, 1900.
