"We are turning to the Jewish public in order to explain to it, how we will answer the public and its newspapers (without regard to political party) to our claims to the Jewish Agency to put an end to our bitter fate."

Behold we are rejecting with full force the blame that the author of the article in HaAretz of 3 months ago, that our claims influence various political sides, be it the right or the left. The blame…comes to represent us as an unwanted element for building the land …that our sweat saturated the land along with all the others…
Behold we…[repeat]…that no political side …to attack one camp…only the pain of our wives and our children …abandoned by themselves for so many years, and our bitter lives…our joint lot it is that ties us... WE CANNOT CONTINUE LIKE THIS.
IN out "war" the first victims have already fallen. 7 men, innocent of sin, have fallen into the hands of the police, jailed like criminals, and the danger of expulsion from the land hanging over them. THE LOT OF THESE PRISONERS IS ALSO OUR LOT. WE WILL NOT WEKEN FROM OUR LEGITIMATE REQUESTS.
We therefore turn first to those who come to the Jewish settlement, and to all the Jewish public. We call out to you
Make the requested effort to take us out of our terrible situation.
Do not increase the number of victims.
Put an end to our suffering.
Help us to save the prisoners from the danger of expulsion.
