Description		    Anti secular schooling polemic. In letter dated the tenth day of Sivan, 5689 (June 18, 1929), the committee of supervisors of the Kollel Shomrei Ha Homot, which was under the overall leadership of R. Yosef Hayyim Sonnenfeld, issued the following statement:

We are announcing with this. ...that under the regulations of our Kollel to fine those who bring their sons to "schools", those who bring their sons to the school called Spitzer's or to the school called "Miss Landau" will also be fined, with the agreement of HaGaon [R. Sonnenfeld].

The document is signed by Moshe Eisenbach, Hillel Kohen, Hayyim Wallis, and Amram Blau. This is followed by a statement that [R. Sonnenfeld] gave permission to write this, and that whoever sends to these "schools", it is fitting to fine him. Signed Naftali Teitelbaum, and Avraham Fried.
