Only edition of these derashot on the weekly Torah readings by R. Hayyim Moses ben Isaac Matzliah. This is part one of R. Mtatzliah’s discourses, part two having been published nine years later (1882). Yaari notes that the Bet Eked mistakenly attributes both parts to 1873. Each of the three paragraphs comprising the text of the title page begin with the word am and conclude with the author’s name. There are decorative pieces on the title page and verso followed by an approbation from R. Abraham Palache, an introduction form the editor, Ben Zion Benjamin Roditi, and the text, in two columns in rabbinic type. Many of the parashot have more than one discourse. The volume concludes with errata and indexes. |
