Description		    Talmudic novellae from R. Ezekiel ben Naftali Grossfeld. The title page describes the work as that which he wove, embroidered, established, and looked into on ten sugyot of the Talmud, mostly from Seder Mo’ed. These are sugyot most frequently studied on Shabbat Teshuvah, which the Lord graced me, Ezekiel ben Naftali Grossfeld, rav of the community of טשאב. The verso of the title page has the disclaimer concerning the use of terms such as goi. It is followed by the lengthy introduction of the author (2a-11a) in which he discusses Hungarian Jewry and provides biographical information. The text follows, in a single column in rabbinic letters, consisting of the novellae mentioned on the title page.

R. Ezekiel ben Naftali Grossfeld (d. 1911) was born in ערדא-סענזשארץ Transylvania. His father died while he was very young. R. Grossfeld studied under R. Moses Perst and R. Mordecai Judah Loewy, R. Jekuthiel Judah Teitelbaum, R. Judah Asad and R. Menahem א"ש. R. Grossfeld served as av bet din in טשאב.
