Description		    A work of Yiddish fiction by Yudl Yofe ( 1882-1941), who is also the author of many works in Yiddish, including Afn glaykhn veg : dertseylungen (Moscow, 1941) , Dos eydeml: (roman) (Moscow, 1936), Frishe koykhes: roman (Moscow, 1940) and others.

The cover has an interesting drawing on it of what looks like a man and a woman walking on steps while holding a sign which has on it the title of the book.
