Description		    Only edition of this part of the respona on Shulhan Arukh Orah Hayyim and Yoreh De’ah from R. Isaac Eisik ben Jacob Haver Wildmann. A second part, on Even ha-Ozer was printed by his grandson in 1905. The title page lists some of R. Wildmann’s other works, and is dated Torah תורה (611 = 1851). It has an introduction from the author, a lengthy preface from his son, R. Joseph ben Isaac Eisik, and thd the first part of the listing of the respons, the conclusion of the listing is at the end of the volume. There are thirty six responsa in Orah Hayyim (ff. 1-43) and sixty six in Yoreh De’ah (ff. 44-146).

R. Isaac Eisik ben Jacob Haver Wildmann (Haver; 1789–1853) served as rabbi in Poland-Lithuania, in in the communities of Rozinoi, Volkovysk, Tikocyn, Siauliai, and Suwalk. In addition to his eminence in halakhah, he was a kabbalist in the tradition of the school of R. Elijah ben Solomon Zalman, the Gaon of Vilna. R. Wildmann was the author of Magen ve-Zinnah (Johannisbrg, 1855), a defense of Kabbalah against the attacks in Ari Nohem attributed by many to R. Judah Leone Modena. R. Wildmann was a prolific writer in both halakhah and Kabbalah. His other works include: Beit Yizhak (Suwalk, 1836), on the negative and positive commandments; Beit Olamim (1889) on the Idra Rabba, a part of the Zohar; Yad Hazakah (1842), a commentary on the Passover Haggadah; Pithei She'arim (1888), a detailed exposition of Isaac Luria’s kabbalistic system; Be'er Yizhak (1889), a commentary on the rabbinical collectanea Likkutei ha-Gra of the Gaon of Vilna.
