Description		    Only edition of these discourses on the weekly Torah reading and festivals by R. Noah ben Samuel of Korov. The title page desecribes kav Hen as precious discourses on the Torah and selections on festivals of the Lord and aggadah delivered by the great rav, the pious, etc. R. Noah who resided in Korov. It was brought to press by the author’s grandson, R. Hayyim Moses Zev who resides in Warsaw. There s a lengthy introduction from R. Abraham Zevi Hirsch, son of the late R. Joshua. He notes that Hen חן is the letters of נח which is the name of the holy Admor and it is only a kav (a measure), a small measure of the sea of wisdom that he received from the Admor. The text follows in two columns, on the weekly parashat with discourses on festivals placed as they appear in the yearly cycle by the relevant parashah. From 77b are likkutim and the final unfoliated leaf is errata.

R. Noah ben Samuel of Korov (1794-1856) was a Talmud of the Hozeh and after of R. Isaac Moses Azriel of Belz and R. Samuel of Korov. He was appointed Admor in 1841 but left his Hassidim to go to Kutzk. However, his hassidim followed after him. It is reported that R. Mendel of Kutzk thought very highly of R. Noah.
