Detailed Description |
|
Novellae to Tractate Gittin by a 19th century talmudic scholar. Tractate Gittin deals with bills of divorce and also contains many other topics heavily discoursed by scholars. The novellae contains a lengthy pilpul on the topic of "nat bar nat" the flow of taste through vessels, which has applications in the laws of meat and milk, cooking of non kosher foods, hometz (leavened bread) on Passover, and other areas of Jewish law. |
