Description
Volume one on Orah Hayyim, the customs of Jerusalem by a Moroccan rabbinical scholar from Egypt. R. Raphael Aaron b. Dvaid Ben Simeon (1848-1928) was born in Rabat, Morocco and emigrated to Erez Israel at the young age of 6. He served in rabbinical positions in Morocco and Egypt from 1891-1921 before returning to Erez Israel. He passed on in Tel Aviv.

והוא אסיפת דינים מנהגי ... ירושלים... על ארבע חלקי הש"ע, שכבר נדפסו בירושלם בשנת התר"ב [ע"י ר' חיים אברהם גאגין, בשם: ספר התקנות והסכמות ומנהגים] ועתה נוספו עליהם רבים ממנהגי ירושלם שנשמטו... והמציאם... מרן אבא... צו"ף דב"ש [ר' דוד בן-שמעון] זצוק"ל... עשיתי ביאור על המנהגים בידיעת שורש ומקור כל מנהג והגהות והערות, וגם עוללות אשר מצאתי ממנהגי ירושלם... שגם הם נשמטו, וקראתיו נהר פקוד... נאם זעירא מאנשי ירושלם... רפאל אהרן ן' שמעון משרת בקדש בק"ק מצרים ואגפיה... חלק א: אורח חיים. נא אמון, דפוס פרג חיים מזרחי ובניו, תרס"ח. י עמ', קנד דף. הפנים הוא העתקה מתוך ספר התקנות והסכמות הנ"ל, דף מו,ב-נה,א. כאמור, נוספו סעיפים חדשים וביאור "נהר פקוד".
