This is the seventh edition of a book on harmony (in music) and the use of scales, intervals, etc. [ to achieve that harmony] by Heinrich Wohlfahrt (1797-1883). He was a well known piano teacher and composer. He is remembered for the didactic études and instructive literature written for his own teaching purposes.

Wohlfahrt is the author of numerous books on music, including many which have been translated into English.
