A vocabulary of the Pentateuch, containing all the words of the five books in their primitive form. The de Sola family streches back to the tenth century and produced many distinguished Hebrew scholars and communal leaders. Jacob Mendes De Solla served as minister of Baltimore's Separdic Beth Israel synagouge for several years from 1857. |
