Description		    Only edition in Judeo-German. [8] ff., 154:93 mm., usual age staining, nice margins. A good copy bound in later full vellum boards. Very rare - only one known copy in Britian.
          
Detailed
Description		    Prayerbook for women in Judeo-German with specialized prayers (tehinot) for various personal occassions that a Jewish mother encounters during her life. Printed in single colume in Waberish type. The author (d. 1638) passed on in Vienna, where he is buried.

Rare - Women's prayer books have generally not survived the test of time. The "alta Yiddishe mama" used these types of prayerbooks for daily recital of the Tehinot, while occupied with hosehold chores, shedding tears, and abusing the prayerbook. This copy has survived reasonable well.
