Detailed
Description
This volume, which the author dedicated to his son Juda, appears to be a discussion of religion and "Bürgerglück" [translates as the joy of being a citizen]. This was published in the early years of the emancipation of the Jews and the subject of citizenship was high in the minds of the Jews.

The author, of Lissa, was a supervisor of the Free School. He had been in a disputation with the publishers of the magazine called Ha Meassef. Simonsohn accused it of being the creators of poison for the religious students.

He wrote a defense to the scholarly world that had misjudged the Talmud and the Rabbis. (1825).
