A poster from the Histadrut HaPoel HaMizrahi/Histadrut HaMizrahi announcing a series of Rosh Hodesh celebrations. The first two, occurring at the same time at different locations, were to take place on Wednesday evening, the 29th day of the month of Adar, the eve of Rosh Hodesh [Nisan]…March 23, 1955 .One was at Makor Hayyim, with the participation of Mr. Moshe Gevirtzman, a member of the municipal council of Jerusalem. The other at Kiryat HaYovel, with the participation of R. Amram Blau, and R. Eliyahu Grossman and Mr. Simhah Rakover.
And on Thursday, March 24th, 1955 which was Rosh Hodesh Nisan there were get togethers at the following five locations (some at 7 p.m., others at 7:30 p.m.): At Beit Spitzer with the participation of R. Yitzhak Meir Charlop, Mr. David Nisanoff… with the viewing of a movie entitled Eretz Emunah about the religious settlement of the land of Israel.
At the neighborhood center in Beka, with the participation of Dr. Meir Schochatman and Mr. Amram Harouche. In Talpiot , with R. Amram Sisu, Mr. Moshe Gevirtzman, and R. Yaakov Melamed Kohen. In Katamon Gimel -- with R. Y. Alshich, R. N. Rotta, R, Bar-Magen and Mr. S, Erki. And at a dedication of a new synagogue with R. Ovadia Hadiya, Dr. Zerach Wahrhaftig, R. Shabtai Iton, and R. Reuven Sinai.
